1. General Information

This website, accessible at lexipontix.eu, is owned by George Fourlas and Dimitris Marousos (hereinafter the “Owners”) and is operated by the sole proprietorship Georgios K. Fourlas, VAT No: EL039281411 (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, “we” or “us”).

The website constitutes the official online learning platform for training in the Lexipontix Program for School-age Children who Stutter provided by the Owners.

Through the website, specialized asynchronous and synchronous online educational services, including but not limited to online courses, live webinars, supervisions, lectures, workshops, study days, events and other educational or informational activities (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Training” or “Trainings”), are offered. The website also provides informational, educational, and therapeutic material and products in digital and/or physical form.

Upon their first visit to the website or upon registration to access services, each visitor or user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) is required to:
(a) be informed about and consent to, select or reject the use of cookies, in accordance with the Cookie Policy,
(b) accept these Terms and Conditions and
(c) be informed about the collection, processing, and protection of personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

The services and Trainings provided through the Website are offered worldwide. Access to the Website from jurisdictions where the content or services are illegal is prohibited. Users accessing the Website from outside Greece do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Website, services and all related legal relationships are governed exclusively by Greek law and applicable European Union law.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms

Browsing, registering, purchasing, or using any service or Training provided or displayed on the website constitutes the User’s explicit confirmation that they have read, understood, and fully accepted:
(a) these Terms and Conditions,
(b) the Cookie Policy and
(c) the Privacy Policy.

If a User does not agree with any of the above, they must refrain from using the website and its services and must not create an account.

Minors may access the website only with the consent, supervision, and sole responsibility of their parents or legal guardians and are not required to disclose personal data.

Users confirm they are legally permitted and professionally qualified (where applicable) to apply the training content. The Company does not verify professional credentials.

The User bears full responsibility for any damage arising from improper, unlawful, or abusive use of the website or from violation of these Terms and Conditions.

The User acknowledges and accepts that the Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delete the User’s account or to restrict or deny the User’s access to specific services, without compensation and without any obligation to provide justification or prior notice.

 

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 Website and Training Content

All content available on the website and within each Training, including but not limited to texts, videos, recorded presentations, graphics, photographs, diagrams, illustrations, announcements, files of any format, constitutes intellectual property of the Owners and/or the Company, as applicable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Such content is protected by national, European, and international intellectual property laws. Any form of commercial or other exploitation, reproduction, republication, copying, storage, sale, transmission, distribution, publication, performance, downloading, translation, modification or adaptation, in whole or in part, without prior written consent of the Owners and the Company, is strictly prohibited.

Any third-party intellectual property appearing on the website remains the responsibility of its respective owners and is not associated with the Company.

3.2 Trademarks and Logos

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all trademarks, logos, service marks, distinctive titles, and branding elements displayed on the website belong to the Owners/Company and are protected under applicable Greek, European and international laws.

Users expressly acknowledge that none of the above may be used, reproduced, copied, modified, published, distributed, uploaded, transmitted or exploited in any way. Any violation results in exclusive liability for compensation to the Owners/Company.

 

4. Purchase of Services and Courses

Each User account is strictly personal. Accessing the website by multiple persons using the same account is strictly prohibited.

Purchases are completed by adding the selected service or Training to the shopping cart and completing payment via credit card through secure online payment providers (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). The Company bears no responsibility for the security of transactions or for any charges or damages incurred during payment processing.

The Company does not store, process, or have access to Users’ full payment card details.

Upon purchase, the User is granted access to the Training content and materials for a predefined period, unless otherwise specified.

In accordance with applicable European Union consumer protection legislation, the User expressly acknowledges and agrees that, upon completion of the purchase and commencement of access to digital content or Training services, the right of withdrawal is waived. By proceeding with the purchase, the User expressly consents to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledges the loss of the statutory right of withdrawal. The User confirms that this consent is provided expressly and separately, as required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where applicable, successful completion of required evaluations within the specified time-frame and selection of the “FINISH COURSE” option are required for Training completion.

Certificates of attendance are issued only upon successful completion of the Training.

Discount coupons may be offered for selected services. Coupons are personal, non-transferable and may be deactivated by the Company without prior notice or justification.

Users must declare during purchase whether they require an invoice and must correctly enter invoicing details. Post-purchase invoicing requests are not possible. The User bears full responsibility for the accuracy of invoicing information.

 

5. Account Security

The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their account. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to or use of the User’s account due to the User’s failure to safeguard login credentials. The User must immediately notify the Company of any suspected unauthorized use or security breach.

 

6. Levels of Training and Licensing

The Training follows a linear progression from Level-0 to Level-4. Level-0 is free and introductory. Levels 1 to 4 must be completed sequentially.

Each level grants a limited, non-exclusive license to use specific Lexipontix programme materials strictly in accordance with the learning objectives and the guidelines of that level.

Licensing per Level:

  • Level-0: Free access after registration. Users at this level are not granted any license, rights of use, or permissions beyond basic access.
  • Level-1: Three-month access to course lessons; downloadable LAP material (PDF); license to use LAP material and forms with own clients only; certificate of attendance.
  • Level-2: Three-month access to course lessons; downloadable therapy materials (PDF); access to Lexipontix online games; limited clinical use license with own clients; certificate of attendance. Note that autonomous application of the Lexipontix Therapy Programme with clients, requires successful completion of Level-3.
  • Level-3: Full license for autonomous clinical application; complete Lexipontix Programme Manual (PDF); session-by-session treatment plan; lifetime access*; certificate of attendance;
  • Level-4: Accredited Therapist listing; logo usage rights; promotional authorization; lifetime access*; potential ambassador role (subject to separate agreement).* “Lifetime access” refers to access for the operational lifetime of the Website or the specific Training, subject to compliance with these Terms.

The table below titled “Deliverables and Licensing of Lexipontix Programme Training Levels” describes the deliverables and licensing permissions for each level:

 

 

All licenses granted under the Training levels are limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and strictly confined to the professional and educational purposes explicitly described for each respective level.

The User is expressly prohibited from reselling, sublicensing, distributing, sharing, publishing or otherwise making available any Training content, materials, methodologies or derivative works to third parties, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, unless expressly authorized in writing by the Company.

 

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not available after purchase.

Specific exceptions:

  • Level-3 Live Webinars: One rescheduling opportunity if cancellation occurs at least 30 days prior.
  • Level-4 Supervisions: One rescheduling opportunity if canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

Failure to attend the rescheduled session forfeits any refund or further rescheduling rights.

The Owners/Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, force majeure events or governmental restrictions.

If cancellation occurs due to the Company’s responsibility, the full participation fee is refunded. The Company reserves the right to cancel any Training without justification, with full refund and no further liability.

The Company may update, modify or improve Training content. Such changes do not constitute grounds for refund.

 

8. Training Attendance Rules

Attendance licenses are personal and non-transferable. Recording, live streaming, photographing or reproducing Training content is strictly prohibited.

Users are responsible for their own technical equipment and internet connectivity. The Company bears no responsibility for interruptions caused by user technical issues.

Live sessions require camera participation. Users attending with cameras off may be excluded and are not entitled to refunds or certificates.

The User acknowledges that live online Trainings, webinars or supervision sessions may be recorded by the Owners/Company for educational, quality assurance or archival purposes, unless otherwise expressly stated.

By participating in live sessions with an active camera and/or microphone, the User expressly consents to the processing of their image and voice in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Privacy Policy. Such recordings shall not be used for commercial promotion without additional explicit consent where required by law. Recordings, where applicable, are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

 

9. External Links

The website may contain links to third-party websites or applications. The Company bears no responsibility for their content, availability, privacy practices or services.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

All information provided is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, therapeutic or clinical advice.

Professionals using the Training content assume full responsibility for its application in their professional practice. The Owners/Company bears no liability for damages arising from such application.
Services and content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or accuracy of information.

The Company has no liability for interruptions such as temporary unavailability due to maintenance, updates or security reasons.

The Company does not guarantee any specific educational, professional, clinical, financial or commercial outcomes resulting from participation in the Trainings.

Certificates issued through the Website confirm participation or completion of Training only and do not constitute a professional qualification or license to practice.

Certificates, licenses or accreditations granted through the Website do not imply recognition by public authorities, professional associations or third-party institutions unless explicitly stated.

Participation in the Trainings does not create any employment, partnership, agency or joint venture relationship between the User and the Owners/Company.

 

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction – Other Terms

Provisions relating to intellectual property rights, licensing restrictions, limitation of liability, disclaimers, governing law, jurisdiction and any provisions which by their nature are intended to survive, shall remain in full force and effect after termination or deletion of the User’s account.

Any notice, communication or notification sent by the Owners/Company to the email address provided by the User during registration or purchase shall be deemed duly given and valid for the purposes of these Terms, provided that the Company has taken reasonable steps to ensure proper dispatch.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Owners/Company. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

These Terms are governed by Greek law, supplemented by European Union law and applicable international treaties. Exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute is vested in the Courts of Athens, Greece.

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
